Indian Gas Exchange Limited (IGX) and Central European Gas Hub AG (CEGH) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore opportunities in trading natural gas and renewable gases like hydrogen and biomethane. The focus areas of this partnership include market development, training programs, and the operation of gas hubs. The collaboration aims to leverage CEGH's European market expertise and IGX's knowledge of the Indian gas market to enhance the efficiency and transparency of gas trading. Both parties plan to develop trading platforms for emerging green gases, provide training programs, and collaborate on supporting gas hub operations in India. The MoU also includes provisions for the development of tailored training programs and certification courses to enhance the skills of market participants and stakeholders in India.
