NoviqTech has finalized a deal with BHP Group investee company, Clean Hydrogen Technologies (CHT), to implement a tracking system for Guarantee of Origin certificates, focusing on turquoise hydrogen production. This collaboration will involve real-time monitoring systems to capture data on hydrogen production processes and tokenize certificates to ensure sustainability proof. CHT will adopt a subscription model for tracking, with NoviqTech applying fees per token produced. The companies will start the modeling phase this year, with CHT planning to issue tokens upon reaching production standards. This step is essential to adhere to sustainability standards outlined in their agreement. NoviqTech's CEO, Freddy El Turk, emphasized the partnership's goal of enhancing transparency and accountability in the sustainable hydrogen sector. He expressed excitement in supporting CHT's mission to provide transparent information on hydrogen production to boost credibility in the clean energy market.
