Indian green hydrogen and ammonia producer, AM Green, has collaborated with UAE-based logistics group, DP World, to develop a sustainable supply chain for green fuels and chemicals. The memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed in December 2024 focuses on enhancing global decarbonization efforts through exporting 1 million tonnes per annum of green ammonia and methanol. The partnership involves the development of logistics and storage infrastructure for global exports, including port infrastructure across AM Green Net-Zero Industrial Clusters, bunkering infrastructure in Dubai, India, and Southeast Asia, and terminal infrastructure in the European Union, Far East, and UAE.
AM Green aims to reach a production capacity of 5 mtpa by 2030, with projects in India dedicated to producing sustainable aviation fuel, green ammonia, green hydrogen, and biofuels. The company has already made progress by finalizing investment decisions for a 1 mtpa green ammonia plant in India and awarding contracts for its construction. These efforts are part of AM Green's commitment to supporting India's ambition to become a green energy exporter.
