Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma is focusing on attracting investments in green energy sectors like floating solar, bio-CNG, green hydrogen, and AJT fuel in preparation for the upcoming Advantage Assam 2.0 Summit on February 25 and 26. He has engaged with leading industrialists in Mumbai to showcase the state's green energy revolution and investor-friendly policies, aiming for a sustainable future. Assam's initiatives include plans for floating solar projects, bio-CNG production, green hydrogen, and alcohol-to-jet fuel. The state is also investing in projects like a biorefinery unit for bioethanol production, India's first 99.999% pure green hydrogen plant, and a significant semiconductor plant with Tata Electronics. Furthermore, the Chief Minister is actively seeking partnerships with Japanese industrialists, proposing the establishment of a Japanese industrial town near Guwahati to promote collaboration in electronics, semiconductors, green energy, and sustainable innovations. This strategy aligns with Assam's vision for industrial growth and economic development through sustainable practices and international partnerships.
