Cyient, an engineering solutions provider, has won a contract to support GreenH Bodø in the development of a hydrogen production and distribution facility in Bodø, Norway. The project is part of a joint venture between GreenH and Luxcara, with Cyient tasked with providing owner’s engineering and detailed plant engineering services. The aim is to optimize project delivery and efficiency through Cyient's experience in green and renewable energy engineering, specifically green hydrogen. The facility in Bodø will focus on supplying green hydrogen to the maritime and heavy transport industries, with civil construction commencing in fall 2024. This initiative is a significant step towards delivering green hydrogen for maritime transport, with the facility set to provide fuel for Vestfjorden ferries under a long-term agreement with Torghatten Nord AS.
