Enagás, in collaboration with REN, Teréga, GRTgaz, and OGE, is embarking on the journey of establishing clientele for the H2Med green hydrogen corridor, a pivotal interconnection set to link multiple European countries. The upcoming 'Call for Interest', scheduled to commence on November 7th, seeks to evaluate the demand landscape and identify potential stakeholders with vested interests in hydrogen production, consumption, and commercialization across the involved nations. While the participation in this preliminary phase is voluntary, its outcomes are anticipated to provide valuable insights for the detailed design and implementation of this transformative infrastructure. By envisioning a scenario where Europe can efficiently supply sustainable hydrogen by 2030, aligned with Spain's strategic projection of achieving a substantial 12 GW electrolyzer capacity, the H2Med corridor signifies a significant step towards fostering renewable energy integration and advancing the region's energy transition goals.
