ENOC Group and Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) have collaborated to explore green hydrogen-powered mobility solutions in Dubai. This partnership supports the Dubai Green Mobility Strategy 2030 and the development of the UAE’s green hydrogen economy. The agreement involves ENOC Group supplying green hydrogen fuel to RTA’s city buses and providing technical support for a comprehensive feasibility study. The initiative aims to enhance sustainability in transportation, aligning with the UAE's green economy plans and contributing to environmental sustainability. Green hydrogen, produced through water electrolysis using renewable energy sources like solar and wind, emits zero carbon dioxide during production, providing a clean energy alternative that extends vehicle driving range.
