Fortum, a leading energy company in Finland, has partnered with P2X Solutions, a Finnish green hydrogen company, to support the production of green hydrogen at P2X Solutions' plant in Harjavalta, south-western Finland. The five-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) between the two companies ensures that P2X Solutions can produce green hydrogen following strict EU criteria. The renewable power required for this production will be sourced from Fortum's renewable energy portfolio in Finland, with the agreement spanning until the end of 2029 and complying with EU regulations for renewable hydrogen.
