This plant, established under the National Green Hydrogen Mission, aims to produce 4.3 tonnes per day of hydrogen with a purity of 99.99%. GAIL is also installing 20 MW solar power plants to power the electrolyzer for green hydrogen production. Initially, the hydrogen will be used as a fuel alongside natural gas for internal processes. Despite a decrease in revenue and net profit in the March quarter, this initiative demonstrates GAIL's commitment to sustainable energy practices.
