Spanish renewable power company Iberdrola and UK-based BP have announced a partnership to develop a 25-megawatt green hydrogen plant in Castellon, Spain. This initiative, backed by a 15 million-euro EU subsidy, is intended to assist BP in lowering the carbon footprint of its oil refinery in Castellon. The project will be equally financed by BP and Iberdrola, although the exact construction costs were not disclosed.
