Discussions included topics such as adapting economies to global challenges, improving access to finance, and sustainable investment in infrastructure and digital transformation. Minister Toukan highlighted Jordan's backing of the Bank's proposed strategic orientation aligned with Jordan's economic modernization vision. Key discussions with EBRD officials covered the economic situation in Jordan, ongoing projects with EBRD support, and future cooperation priorities. Notably, the discussion touched upon new and ongoing projects in water, green hydrogen, transportation, and waste management sectors to boost economic growth and sustainability. Both parties are preparing to develop a new country strategy for Jordan, focusing on private sector competitiveness, sustainable infrastructure, and transitioning to a green economy.
