Vice Minister of Energy Bakytzhan Ilyas highlighted the strategic importance of hydrogen energy and green hydrogen's role in energy transition, economic diversification, and emission reduction. Discussions with German officials centered on energy security, climate commitments under the Paris Agreement, and the promotion of renewable energy projects. Cooperation agreements were reached to advance hydrogen diplomacy, decarbonization efforts, and sustainable development goals in Kazakhstan and Central Asia. The meetings underscored the mutual commitment to combat climate change, increase energy independence, and promote environmental sustainability through global cooperation and collective efforts for a greener future.
