This partnership involves an investment from Lummus Venture Capital to support the deployment of Advanced Ionics' hydrogen electrolyser technology in industries like refining, gas processing, and petrochemicals. The goal is to aid decarbonisation efforts by providing cost-efficient solutions. The Symbion™ Electrolyzers by Advanced Ionics are designed to address challenges in green hydrogen production by utilizing waste heat and low-cost clean electricity, resulting in significantly lower electricity consumption per kilogram of hydrogen produced. The modular design of these electrolyzers allows for quick deployment, easy maintenance, and reduced capital costs. Lummus, a global licensor of hydrogen technology, will contribute engineering services and proprietary equipment to increase green hydrogen capacity for both new and existing hydrogen users.
