NEOM, a groundbreaking urban development project in Saudi Arabia, has announced the launch of Hidden Marina as the initial phase of its innovative project, THE LINE. The development, revealed by NEOM's Chief Development Officer Denis Hickey at the PIF Private Sector Forum in Riyadh, is set to transform traditional city living with a futuristic vertical city design. Hidden Marina will span 2.5 kilometers in length and rise 500 meters high, surpassing global benchmarks like the Burj Khalifa in built-up area. With plans to accommodate over 200,000 residents, the development also includes various amenities such as residential units, hotels, schools, and commercial spaces to create a fully integrated urban environment. NEOM's investment of $140 billion in infrastructure aims to support critical services like energy, water, and transport, essential for the emerging metropolis. The workforce, representing over 100 countries with 40% local Saudi talent, showcases the project's international scope and impact. NEOM's vision goes beyond just a city; it aims to redefine economies and establish new global standards in urban development.
