In Bhubaneswar, the capital city of Odisha, a significant development took place with the signing of a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the Green Hydrogen Mobility Project. The agreement was signed between Odisha's Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT), Gridco, and NTPC. The MoU signing ceremony, which occurred on a Monday, saw the presence of key dignitaries including deputy chief minister Kanak Vardhan Dinghdeo and urban minister Dr. Krushna Chandra Mahapatra. The managing directors of CRUT, Gridco, and the Chief General Manager of NTPC signed the official papers. This initiative marks a crucial step towards promoting sustainable transportation solutions in the region by utilizing green hydrogen. The collaboration among these entities reaffirms a shared commitment to environmental conservation and the adoption of renewable energy sources for mobility.
