Hydrom, in cooperation with Oman Vision 2040 unit and the Ministry of Energy and Minerals, has launched a two-week Ecosystem Readiness Lab in Muscat to accelerate Oman's plans for green hydrogen production by 2030. The lab aims to assess the nation's infrastructure preparedness through five critical workstreams, fostering a synergistic roadmap for a prosperous green hydrogen future. Government officials, including HE Eng. Salim Nasser Al Aufi, highlight green hydrogen's significance in Oman's energy transition and economic strategy. The lab workstreams focus on construction, skilled labor, regulatory framework, logistics, and local content to address essential aspects of green hydrogen projects. By involving all sectors, the initiative aims to create a unified strategy for a sustainable future.
