Prime Minister Narendra Modi is embarking on a significant three-day tour of Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar, reinforcing India's commitment to sustainability and renewable energy. The tour commences with an event at the Airforce Station in Vadsar, followed by the inauguration of RE-Invest 2024 at the Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar. This global conference will host key sessions on green hydrogen and innovative financing, underscoring India's strides in renewable energy. The visit also includes the commencement of development projects exceeding Rs. 8,000 crore, encompassing railway line expansions, new road constructions, and solar power installations like the 30MW and 35MW projects in Kutch. Modi will also sanction over 30,000 homes through the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Gramin and launch the Vande Metro from Bhuj to Ahmedabad, enhancing urban transport. Moreover, the inauguration of Vande Bharat trains will improve connectivity between major Indian cities, signifying a holistic approach towards infrastructure development and sustainable growth.
