Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched projects worth Rs 2.08 lakh crore in Andhra Pradesh, including the country's largest green hydrogen hub, South Coastal Railway zonal headquarters, Krishnapatnam industrial node, and a bulk drug park. The green hydrogen hub by NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) is set to come up at Pudimadaka in Atchutapuram mandal, aiming to produce green hydrogen and derivatives using renewable energy sources. The project, part of the National Green Hydrogen Mission, is expected to create 57,000 jobs and position Andhra Pradesh as a green energy powerhouse. Additionally, various railway projects, including the construction of South Coastal Railway Zonal Headquarters and doubling of railway lines, were inaugurated. The foundation stone for Krishnapatnam Industrial Area and a bulk drug park was also laid, promising significant investments and job creation. The projects are poised to boost industrial activity, attract investments, and foster economic growth in the region.
