Reliance Industries Ltd. has entered into a technology licensing agreement with Norway's Nel ASA, granting the company an exclusive license for Nel's alkaline electrolysers in India. The agreement allows Reliance to manufacture Nel's alkaline electrolysers for captive purposes globally, facilitating the company's goal to build an integrated energy vertical and drive decarbonization efforts. Nel ASA, with a significant global market share in electrolysers, stands to benefit from a new revenue stream in India through this collaboration.
