SunHydrogen, Inc. has partnered with CTF Solar GmbH to advance the production of green hydrogen through innovative technology. By adapting CTF Solar's commercial solar cell module design, SunHydrogen has developed a 100 cm² hydrogen module to facilitate hydrogen production with minimal changes to the manufacturing process. The strategic adaptation focuses on optimizing voltages and currents in the photovoltaic elements to enhance efficiency. Additionally, efforts are being made to integrate catalysts and apply stabilization coatings to improve performance and durability. A pilot demonstration involving 50 1m² green hydrogen panels will be initiated to assess the modules' performance, cost-efficiency, and operational functionality at a systems level. SunHydrogen plans to announce an industrial partner soon for scaling up to commercial production by developing housing units and essential infrastructure.
