SunHydrogen, known for its breakthrough technology to produce renewable hydrogen using sunlight and water, announced a collaboration with CTF Solar GmbH to accelerate the production of green hydrogen panels. By integrating CTF's solar cell modules, SunHydrogen aims to optimize the generation of hydrogen. They have successfully adapted CTF Solar's commercial solar cell module design to create hydrogen modules that facilitate efficient hydrogen production with minimal changes to the manufacturing process. This adaptation enhances the photovoltaic elements to achieve optimal voltages and currents necessary for green hydrogen generation. SunHydrogen plans to produce 1m2 green hydrogen panels for a pilot demonstration, assessing performance and cost-efficiency. The partnership with CTF Solar, a company managed by German photovoltaic engineers and owned by CNBM Group, will help in scaling up operations globally. This collaboration highlights the potential for innovative solutions in the renewable energy sector.
