VINCI, through its subsidiary Cobra IS, has been awarded a €74 million contract for piping and mechanical works at a green hydrogen steel plant in Duisburg, Germany. This plant, owned by Thyssenkrupp Steel Europe and designed to produce 2.5 million tonnes of Direct Reduced Iron annually, will be the first in Germany to be powered exclusively by green hydrogen.
