In honor of International Women’s Day, the Women in Hydrogen 50 programme has announced the opening of nominations for its 2025 honourees, aiming to recognize and celebrate female excellence in the global hydrogen sector. Hosted by Gulf Energy Information, the programme honors 50 outstanding women who are driving advancements in hydrogen innovation, policy, technology, and business. The Women in Hydrogen 50 serves as a global platform to amplify the contributions of female leaders shaping the future of clean energy. This year, the honourees will be celebrated in October at the Women’s Global Leadership Conference in Energy (WGLC) in Houston, Texas, which is the largest conference dedicated to advancing women in leadership in the energy industry. Nominations are open across five categories to ensure a broad representation of women in the hydrogen industry, including projects, technology, policy, industrial use, and rising stars. The Advisory Board, which includes industry leaders like the president & CEO of Chart Industries and the vice president of H2 & CCS Regulatory Affairs at BP, will review all nominations and oversee the selection process. Nominations are accepted from 8 March 2025 to 8 May 2025 via the official WGLC website.
