Honda has announced the lease options for the 2025 Honda CR-V e:FCEV, the first production plug-in hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicle in the United States. The vehicle will be available in California from July 9, with leasing options starting at $459 per month for 3 years/36,000 miles, including $15,000 of hydrogen refueling credits. The CR-V e:FCEV offers a 270-mile EPA driving range, with a U.S.-made fuel cell system and plug-in charging capability for local driving and fast hydrogen refueling for longer journeys. It features a variety of amenities, such as a 10.2-inch digital display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto™ compatibility, Bose premium audio system, and sustainable materials. Honda has a long history of hydrogen fuel cell vehicle experience, with the CR-V e:FCEV being manufactured at Honda's Performance Manufacturing Center in Ohio, utilizing domestically and globally sourced parts. The vehicle is the result of a collaboration with General Motors, featuring a next-generation Honda Fuel Cell Module that offers improved durability, efficiency, and lower cost compared to previous models. The CR-V e:FCEV showcases impressive specifications, including a 17.7 kWh battery, 29 miles of EV range, and 61/52/57 MPGe ratings.
