Air Liquide has inaugurated its largest liquid hydrogen production and logistics facility in North Las Vegas, Nevada, with a $250 million investment and creation of 700 jobs. The plant is recognized as the World’s Largest Liquid Hydrogen Production Plant by the WORLD RECORD ACADEMY. The facility aims to cater to the growing hydrogen mobility needs while serving a diverse range of industries. By providing 30 tons of liquid hydrogen per day, the plant targets customers in the clean mobility market, particularly in California. The facility will be powered by renewable electricity and is equipped to use renewable natural gas to meet the California Low Carbon Fuel Standard. This initiative is set to significantly enhance hydrogen supply for mobility, supporting market expansion.
