Tailored for heavy-duty trucks, this fuel cell stack introduces groundbreaking features like a power output exceeding 400kW, low-temperature cold-start capability at -40°C, high power density, efficiency, and durability. The innovation is a result of advancements in foundational materials, flow field design, packaging, modular integration, health monitoring, and validation testing. This technology is not limited to trucks but also has potential applications in ships, mining trucks, and locomotives, showcasing Dongfeng Motor as a leader in hydrogen operations. Furthermore, the company has launched the 'Dongfeng Hydrogen Boat' power platform using this stack, with plans for new hydrogen fuel cell vehicle demonstration scenarios through partnerships with logistics groups. The comprehensive hydrogen power brand includes systems and fuel cell stacks of varying capacities for passenger and commercial vehicles, contributing to transportation, logistics, and sanitation sectors. With over 500,000 kilometers already covered in demonstration operations, Dongfeng Motor is accelerating the transition from R&D to commercialization of fuel cell vehicles.
