First Hydrogen Corp. has entered into a non-binding letter-of-intent with a large German multinational automotive manufacturer to secure a supply of e-Vans powered by hydrogen-fuel-cell technology. The agreement, subject to finalization, includes integrating First Hydrogen's powertrain into the German-branded vans, providing access to engineering, technical support, and certification services. The company's hydrogen-powered-fuel-cell vehicle (FCEV) has successfully completed trials with a multinational logistics company in the UK, demonstrating a peak range of 630km on a single refueling. The FCEV showcased its power delivery capabilities by achieving outputs of 60kW during accelerations, making it suitable for demanding tasks like carrying heavy payloads or operating auxiliary equipment. Balraj Mann, the Group CEO of First Hydrogen, expressed optimism about the collaboration, highlighting the access it provides to vehicles, integration capabilities, and technical support for entering the North American market. The company's focus on zero-emission vehicles and green hydrogen production aligns with its commitment to sustainable transportation solutions. Additionally, First Hydrogen is working on developing a 35MW green hydrogen production facility and a vehicle assembly factory in Shawinigan, Quebec, further emphasizing its dedication to promoting environmentally friendly technologies.
