Hyundai Motor Company has showcased its latest innovation, the all-new Nexo hydrogen fuel cell-powered SUV, at the 2025 Seoul Mobility Show. This second-generation Nexo model comes with significant improvements over its predecessor, offering a larger size, enhanced fuel cell system, and powertrain systems. With an upgraded motor and a driving range of more than 700 km after a quick tank refill, the new Nexo promises improved performance and efficiency. The SUV features a spacious interior with advanced comfort elements like 'relaxation seats' in the first row, increased luggage capacity, and modern tech such as a 12.3-inch infotainment system with over-the-air updates, a head-up display, and AI-powered voice recognition. Moreover, the Nexo is equipped with Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) technologies like lane-keeping assist and collision avoidance systems, emphasizing passenger safety. The inclusion of nine airbags not only ensures passenger protection but also safeguards the hydrogen tank. The new Nexo boasts a total power output of 190 kW, a significant increase from its predecessor, with a more potent fuel cell stack delivering 110 kW. The advancements in storage density have also contributed to the increased capacity of the hydrogen tank. Hyundai's focus on improving the fuel cell and power electronics systems has resulted in an overall enhancement in the Nexo's power output and performance.
