Genevos will be responsible for designing and delivering the energy system engineering, featuring marine-certified hydrogen fuel cell power systems and gas storage for the vessel. The project will involve the construction and demonstration of a 12-meter fishing vessel powered by a 100 kW electric engine, with a focus on testing its resilience in challenging marine conditions. Scheduled for deployment in three countries by 2026, the prototype is expected to showcase enhanced energy efficiency and eco-friendliness with zero emissions and minimal sound pollution.
