Sembcorp Industries, through its subsidiaries, has entered into two non-binding memoranda of understanding (MOUs) with the Government of Odisha in India. One MOU involves the exploration of a green hydrogen production facility, with Sembcorp Green Hydrogen India Private Limited partnering with Industrial Promotion & Investment Corporation of Odisha Limited. This facility aims to have an annual production capacity of 720,000 metric tonnes and create over 2,000 job opportunities during its operational phase. The second MOU was signed by Sembcorp Development Ltd with Odisha Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation to assess the potential for establishing an industrial park in Odisha. Despite these significant agreements, the financial impact on Sembcorp Industries' earnings per share and net tangible assets per share for the year ending 2025 is expected to be minor.
