SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won recently held discussions with Vietnam's Party General Secretary To Lam in Hanoi to explore opportunities for cooperation in the energy sector and enhance the overall partnership between the two entities. Chey expressed the group's interest in strengthening ties with Vietnam in renewable energy, resources, and related industries, emphasizing its potential contribution to Vietnam's sustainable economic development. SK Group is particularly focused on developing LNG infrastructure, hydrogen energy, SMRs, and AI data centers in Vietnam. In response, Lam commended SK and other Korean companies for their contributions to Vietnam's development and encouraged further collaboration, noting Korea's significance as a key investment and trade partner for Vietnam.
