Vauxhall has announced the full pricing and specifications for the Movano Hydrogen ahead of its orders opening in spring 2025. The Movano Hydrogen was unveiled at the IAA Transportation 2024 event in Hanover last September, showcasing Vauxhall's over 20 years of expertise in developing hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. This model boasts a 150hp electric motor, a Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) fuel cell, and four hydrogen tanks capable of storing 7kg of hydrogen at 700 bar pressure. With a 311-mile range and quick refueling time of less than five minutes, it offers a practical choice for long-distance traveling.
The van also features an 11kWh lithium-ion battery for additional support, an advanced multimedia navigation system, electric power steering, keyless entry, automatic air conditioning, and various other convenient amenities. The Movano Hydrogen is priced starting at £66,450, making it a valuable addition to Vauxhall's electric van lineup, which includes models like Combo Electric, Vivaro Electric, and Movano Electric. Notably, Vauxhall commenced UK customer trials of the Vivaro Hydrogen this year, with several UK fleets participating before the launch of the Movano Hydrogen. The company's dedication to sustainable transportation solutions is evident through its continuous innovation and commitment to offering electric and hydrogen-powered commercial vehicles.
