ERM has initiated offshore trials in South Wales for its Dolphyn Hydrogen process, a significant milestone as the first offshore hydrogen production in the UK from seawater. The process combines electrolysis, desalination, and hydrogen production on a floating wind platform at Pembroke Port. This endeavor, supported by UK government funding through the Low Carbon Hydrogen Supply 2 Competition, aims to produce low-carbon hydrogen for various applications on a large scale.
