First Graphene has secured a partnership to accelerate the Hydrogen Production and Safe Storage for Utilisation in Mobility Project, funded by UK and Australian members with a total cost of $3.72 million. The project focuses on developing novel lightweight impermeable cryogenic all-composite tanks (Type-V) for the safe storage of liquid hydrogen. First Graphene, as one of the nine entities involved, will contribute $382,000 towards the project, aiming to reduce hydrogen permeability and increase strength in composite systems using graphene-enhanced resins.
