Greenzo Energy, an Indian company, has introduced the 'Un Wheel,' a 1 MW alkaline electrolyzer stack designed specifically for India's diverse climates. Engineered by Indian scientists and engineers, this stack operates efficiently in temperatures ranging from -20°C to 60°C, delivering hydrogen at 30 bar pressure without the need for additional compressors. Advanced monitoring ensures safe and efficient production, with a focus on factors like water quality, pressure levels, and purification to maintain high hydrogen purity. Sandeep Agarwal, the founder, highlighted the stack's cost-efficiency, lower energy consumption, and safety features. The company's order book value stands at INR 1,400 crore, indicating substantial market interest. With certifications meeting international standards, Greenzo Energy aims for widespread deployment in industrial sectors like manufacturing and transportation for a cleaner energy transition. The global push for green hydrogen is evident in projects like the Chbika hydrogen project in Morocco, European Energy's plant in Denmark, NEL's PEM facility in the US, and collaborations in Australia and Algeria.
