HDF Energy, a leading global player in the hydrogen industry, has partnered with the Tunisian Ministry of Energy to develop a groundbreaking green hydrogen production project in Tunisia. This collaboration, formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), aims to launch a large-scale project involving substantial investments to drive green hydrogen production for both European and domestic markets. The project's design includes wind and photovoltaic energy sources, along with electrolysers to produce a significant amount of hydrogen for export. The initiative aligns with Tunisia's strategy to become a key player in green hydrogen production, capitalizing on the country's abundant renewable resources. By signing the MoU, both parties have committed to developing a project that not only focuses on energy production but also involves local investors, communities, and various sectors in Tunisia.
