North Rakaia, an energy company in New Zealand, has joined forces with Taiwan-based Mobii Green Energy Group to collaborate on building the world's first green hydrogen AI data center. This innovative project in Canterbury includes the development of 850MW solar farms, 300MW wind farms, green hydrogen production facilities, and power generation units, all operated by renewable energy sources. The partnership also involves the establishment of 750MW AI data center campuses, all emphasizing sustainability. The initial phase of this venture will involve a substantial $2 billion investment, representing the inception of Mobii Green Energy's ambitious Global Green Hydrogen Intelligent City initiative. The cooperation agreement for this groundbreaking project was signed at the Selwyn District Council on September 27 by key figures from both companies.
