The collaboration aims to evaluate and integrate two innovative hydrogen production technologies with TerraVent's Heatwave® electromagnetic thermal tools to extract hydrogen from petroleum reservoirs and geologic hydrogen-producing areas. This initiative is set to revolutionize traditional methods by significantly reducing greenhouse gas emissions and producing low-cost, carbon-zero hydrogen. One of the technologies, developed by Dr. Qingwang Yuan of Texas Tech University, combines hydraulic fracturing with electromagnetic heating to efficiently extract hydrogen from various reservoirs. By utilizing existing oil and gas infrastructure globally, this technology can be implemented rapidly, positioning DiagnaMed at the forefront of the clean hydrogen revolution. The partnership aligns with the U.S. Department of Energy's 'Hydrogen Shot' initiative, targeting $1/kg hydrogen by 2031.
