A delegation from South Korea, led by Sung Soo Kim Su, Senior Vice President of the Global Sae-A Group, visited the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) to explore the organization's advancements in renewable and clean energy. During the visit, the delegation toured key facilities at the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park, including the Sustainability and Innovation Centre and the Research and Development (R&D) Centre. Notably, the delegation learned about DEWA's Green Hydrogen project, which is pioneering the production of hydrogen using solar energy in the region. The project aims to generate green hydrogen through electrolysis powered by renewable sources, with a focus on energy and transportation applications. The delegation also received insights into DEWA's efforts in fostering innovation at the Sustainability and Innovation Centre, which serves as a global hub for clean energy technologies. The visit highlighted the potential for collaboration and knowledge-sharing between South Korea and Dubai in the clean energy sector, emphasizing DEWA's role in driving research and development in renewable energy.
