Leaders in Spain have set ambitious targets for renewable hydrogen deployment, aiming to reach a significant electrolyser capacity by 2030. Lluís Soler Turu, from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC), is optimistic about Spain's potential to lead this transition and emphasizes the importance of hydrogen technology. Green hydrogen, produced from renewable sources, offers a clean alternative to fossil fuels and can be utilized for various purposes, from generating electricity to heating homes.
