The partnership, facilitated by a Memorandum of Understanding, aims to leverage GLD's expertise in producing recycled aluminum alloys to scale up the METAGENE™ process in the global clean energy market. METAGENE™ fuel, developed by Novacium, is a proprietary solution that releases hydrogen efficiently and safely, offering a 95% reduction in carbon emissions compared to primary aluminum production. This reduction translates to significant environmental benefits, making METAGENE™ appealing to impact-focused investors and clean energy stakeholders. The collaboration intends to transition METAGENE™ from a pilot phase to full-scale industrial production by optimizing supply chains and production costs with GLD's support. The autonomous operation of METAGENE™, requiring no electricity or heavy infrastructure, positions it as an ideal solution in the expanding green hydrogen market, projected to grow to $500 billion by 2030. The partnership plans to produce 10 kg of hydrogen per day by 2026, with operational field tests in the pipeline.
