The National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) has embarked on a 5-day training program in Abuja to strengthen its renewable energy capabilities. The training aims to enhance the skills and knowledge of 20 staff members from different NASENI institutes in designing and operating Biogas and Biomethanol plants. In collaboration with SRH Berlin, Germany, renowned for its work in commercial-scale biogas and biomethanol plants, the training includes intensive onsite sessions ending on July 26, 2024. Additionally, two online courses on medium-scale biogas and biomethanol plant design are being offered to the trainees. Dr. Chika Ezeanyanaso, representing the Executive Vice Chairman of NASENI, highlighted the significance of the training in equipping staff with the necessary expertise to effectively manage renewable energy projects. The selection of participants from various NASENI institutes ensures a comprehensive knowledge transfer across the organization. The training, facilitated by a team of experts from SRH Berlin, will empower the staff with cutting-edge skills in various aspects of biogas and biomethanol technology. Engr.
