The collaboration aims to invest in the entire industrial chain of the methanol-hydrogen sector, leveraging Bozhou's foundation in new energy vehicles, biomass resources, and geographical advantages. The focus will be on green methanol production, methanol refueling infrastructure, and methanol-powered vehicles to contribute to the methanol-hydrogen industry ecosystem. Bozhou, as one of the nation's first carbon peak pilot cities, is dedicated to building a clean and low-carbon energy system. The city focuses on developing sectors like zero-carbon logistics, circular economy, and low-carbon transformation. By partnering with Farizon Auto, Bozhou aims to accelerate the establishment of the methanol-hydrogen ecosystem. Farizon Auto sees methanol as a clean and renewable energy source with environmentally friendly characteristics. The company plans to promote methanol electric technologies in the commercial vehicle sector by following the methanol-hydrogen electric route. The collaboration with Bozhou city and local enterprises will work towards establishing a methanol-hydrogen ecosystem, focusing on green methanol production. Both parties will jointly promote green and low-carbon transportation, advance new energy commercial vehicles and components, and establish a demonstration zone for methanol-hydrogen electric vehicle applications. Farizon Auto has plans to expand its methanol refueling stations in China and has achieved significant valuations through its subsidiary's financing rounds, indicating a growing interest and investment in clean energy initiatives.
