This venture, located in Southwest Illinois, plans to establish a facility capable of producing up to 120 million gallons of sustainable aviation fuel annually. The project is not only expected to contribute to environmental sustainability but also to create significant employment opportunities, with a projection of at least 150 full-time jobs and 1,000 construction roles in the region. Moreover, in a move towards diversifying their specialty license plates, Illinois will introduce several new designs in the upcoming year, including plates honoring the Sons of the American Legion and military service achievements.
