Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (MOL) sponsored and attended the completion ceremony of the 'Future City' Pavilion at Expo 2025 in Osaka, Kansai, Japan. The pavilion, one of the largest at the Expo, showcased a hands-on exhibit focusing on the Wind Hunter, a next-generation zero-emission vessel capable of producing and transporting hydrogen using wind power. The interactive 'Wind Vision Attraction' allowed visitors to participate in a simulated voyage, learning about the process of hydrogen production, transportation, and supply. Through thematic video projections, the exhibition emphasized the connection of vessels with society, industry, and people, providing an engaging experience for visitors. Additionally, collaborative videos highlighted the future hydrogen supply chain, featuring the Wind Hunter and hydrogen-fueled mobility by Kawasaki Heavy Industries. This initiative aligns with MOL's environmental strategy towards achieving net-zero GHG emissions by 2050 and emphasizes sustainable development and innovation in the maritime industry.
