ORLEN has recently expanded its hydrogen infrastructure by inaugurating a new public hydrogen station in Katowice, Poland. This station, supplied by the hydrogen HUB in Włocławek, is part of ORLEN Group's efforts to promote sustainable transportation. The facility, located at 22 Murckowska Street, operates around the clock to serve both commercial and private hydrogen-powered vehicles. It offers two dispensers - a 350-bar system for buses and trucks, and a 700-bar option for passenger cars - with a capacity to fuel up to 20 buses and five passenger vehicles daily. Further expansion plans include the launch of hydrogen refuelling facilities in various cities across Poland, such as Bielsko-Biała, Gorzów Wielkopolski, and Warsaw. These initiatives are part of the Clean Cities – Hydrogen Mobility project, with a vision to establish an international network of over 100 hydrogen refuelling stations by 2030, spanning across Poland, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia. The development of hydrogen infrastructure in Poland not only promotes sustainable mobility but also showcases a commitment to advancing clean energy solutions in the transportation sector.
