Clean Hydrogen Works has appointed Robert W. (Rob) Tully as the Senior Vice President and Venture Executive for Ascension Clean Energy (ACE) in The Woodlands, Texas. Mr. Tully brings 40 years of valuable experience from ExxonMobil to lead the initial phase development of ACE and drive the project towards a successful final investment decision (FID). The ACE project, located in Ascension Parish, Louisiana, is set to become Clean Hydrogen Works' flagship facility aimed at meeting the increasing global demand for low-carbon energy. The facility plans to produce 2.4 million metric tons per annum of clean ammonia initially, with future expansion plans to reach 7.2 MTPA. With key partnerships in place, including a CO2 Services Agreement with ExxonMobil, McDermott as the FEED/EPC partner, and Goldman Sachs as the financial advisor, the ACE project is expected to achieve FID by late 2025 and commence production in 2029. This project signifies a step towards a sustainable future, with a focus on clean energy solutions.
