Union Minister Nitin Gadkari recently addressed the issue of significant migration from rural areas to metro cities like Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore in India, attributing it to poverty and unemployment. He emphasized that farmers are not receiving fair prices for their agricultural produce, leading to rural distress. Gadkari highlighted the importance of supporting agriculture and mentioned the introduction of flex engine vehicles and ethanol pumps to increase farmers' income, redefining farmers as 'urja daata' or energy providers. Additionally, he pointed out hydrogen as the fuel for the future and expressed the government's ambition for India to become an exporter of hydrogen fuel. Sustainable aviation fuel development was also underscored as a crucial focus. The Minister's positive sentiment towards addressing rural challenges and promoting sustainable fuel sources for economic growth was evident in his statements.
