The 4th Global Renewable Energy Investment Meeting and Expo (RE-INVEST) is set to commence on September 16 at the Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar, India, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurating the event. Organized by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), the summit will host over 25,000 delegates from 140 countries, including high-level delegations from countries like the USA, UK, and UAE. With a focus on scaling green investments, the event will feature discussions on green hydrogen for decarbonization, onshore wind energy, and strategies to achieve India's goal of generating 500 GW of renewable energy by 2030. Partner nations and states, along with financial institutions and investors, will participate in sessions discussing net-zero emissions by 2070 and the expansion of solar and wind projects. The event aims to bring together global leaders in the renewable energy sector to drive sustainable growth and tackle climate change.
