AFC Energy PLC has announced the successful completion of testing and validation for its 45kVA H-Power Generator, which is now deployed at a construction site in Madrid, Spain. The generator, consisting of a 30kW S Series fuel cell generator and a 60kWh battery system, will be leased to ACCIONA with a purchase option at the end of the lease period. This move signifies a step towards decarbonization in the construction industry, with ACCIONA utilizing the generator to support this initiative. Both companies have expressed their commitment to hydrogen as a significant element in their decarbonization strategy. AFC Energy's CEO, Adam Bond, highlighted the partnership with ACCIONA and the continuous efforts to optimize the generator for international construction sites. Miguel Paris Torres from ACCIONA praised AFC Energy's progress in deploying the latest H-Power Generator and emphasized the readiness for on-site deployment.
